The door to my room had a lock like you would have to a shed, which is why Sheela and I called them our "sheds". Actually, the room was simple but clean and private. Sheela wanted to see my room to compare, basically, was this par for the course. Once we realized that it was then we were settled quite fine. Karen was having nothing to do with Xela after arriving in a torrential downpour and booked reservations out of town at Las Cumbres, the hotel with the natural hot springs.
My room opened to a cement "hallway" that was open to the sky above where the family had a parrott. From the hallway you could access the rest of the house.
